Rashes - Although uncommon, you may experience a rash from the Epsom salt. It is recommended to rinse very well after your session to remove any excess salt remaining on your skin.
Disorientation – It may take you a few minutes to orient yourself back to reality. During your float, you will be devoid of light, sound and touch so it may take time to process what day it is or what time it is. Give yourself plenty of time to reorient yourself to come back to reality.
Nausea and vomiting – Some users may experience nausea during or after the float session. This could be due to vertigo, motion sickness or disorientation. This should ease after your float, or throughout the day.
Burning sensation – A burning sensation may be felt if you have any cuts, scrapes or hangnails. It is recommended to place a thin layer of ointment on the area as a protective barrier against the salt. Occasionally woman have experienced a burning sensation in their private parts. This is due to pH imbalance and may cause a sensitivity.
Tired or unmotivated – Clients react to Flotation Therapy differently. Some may feel refreshed after floating and others may feel tired. This is a temporary condition and should ease within time.
Rattled – Feeling rattled, nervous or worried in the next 48 hours are an uncommon side effect and should ease. It may be necessary to allow time in-between float sessions.

Pregnant women can get relief from float therapy, especially in their advanced stages. The anti-gravity effects eliminate all pressure points from the body and provide true rest. The float pod can be the perfect haven for pregnant women. We do require that you to speak with your doctor before floating.
Please do not float with any oils, moisturizers, conditioners, perfumes or creams on your body or in your hair (we provide you with a specific organic body wash & shampoo to use before you float to remove all body oils). This is to ensure our water remains pristine, clean & pure.
